I have had both, not much between them in my view, glass wise, but for a hunting rifle, I prefer the Z3, ( I have three).
The VX6 is a heavy pig of a scope, better suited to a heavy target or long range rifle, at least not on one, your carrying all day,
Precision optics, CGN, has swarvo optics on sale, a Z5 can be picked up for 1500-1600, he'll of a scope for that price,
