FYI ...long range go with a bigger bullet,the bigger the better,not smaller . if your rifle likes it.it may seem better at shorter ranges (and it is ,but the smaller bullets lose out at the end/long distance)
get a ted gallard barrell or bob jury barrell.........about 400 bucks for it then +++ for install at a smith or so.

1 in 10 is the usual twist im pretty sure for 300s..... maybe a 1 in 9/9.5 could be bought /ordered/ideal.
