Tonight, I was loading 450gr Spitzers over 38.0gr of IMR4198….for some 45-70 goodness.
Seating for a CBTO of 2.20” and a .005” jump.
That is one big-a s s bullet (for FCP bullets). It does seat a long way into that case!
And there you have it…precision 45-70 rounds. If the weather ever warms up, I’ll shoot them.
