Was a pretty cool day actually. We shot that moose maybe 700yrds from where we killed the ram. We were stalking the rams and saw the moose across the valley. My hunter had shot a stone ram before but never a moose. He said he would rather try for the moose. So I started calling and called it into 60yrds. The shot was away from the rams and down into a tight valley. I figured the rams may have not spooked as the shot wouldnt have been very loud to them. We decided to continue after the rams and 2 hours later we completed the stalk and harvested this 165" stone ram.
