This is a really tuff zone to hunt. I had done a lot of google earth scouting and read a lot of the survey info from the government boys and had a plan to hunt the nw part of the zone with the logging slashes and swamps. got all the way up here and found right where the wildlife corridor ends on the peace river pulpmill road its gated off and there's no pickup access. Had to set up camp in the haig lake area and hunt from there. The bush on his side is crazy thick we haven't even seen a moose only whitetail coyotes and 1000000 chickens. There's more wolf and bear sign out here then moose sign. I've started calling at some of the local swamps and am hoping the moose action picks up for the last few days.
