Unlikely Alberta would be submerged but if it was I would head for the Cypress Hills. The Hills escaped the inland ocean and last ice age. Cypress Island would be a safe place loaded with all the surrounding prairie ungulates escaping the flood.

Edmonton's elevation is 2,200 feet above sea level. Calgary is 3,500 feet. Going to take a lot of water to raise that high.
