Standing at the customer service counter at CT the young man in front of me was buying a rifle scope and two boxes of ammunition.
I says to him "Did you buy a new gun today?"
He was just wired you could tell. He says "yeah, I got me a .300 win mag out of the classifieds this afternoon. I can't wait to shoot it!"
He continues, "I just got my PAL last week and couldn't wait to get a gun, this is the first one I could find for sale."
"So let's clarify something i says to him. Did you buy a .300 win mag or a .300WSM?"
"A .300 win mag."
"You're sure?"
"Yes."
"So why do you have one box of .300 win mag ammo, and one box of .300WSM?"
"They are both the same so it won't be a problem."
Needless to say I gave him a short lesson in the differences between the two and he walked out with the right shells, but sheeshkabobs how do people get through life?
