Our Jenn-air died after 10 years and replacing the control panel twice. About right in an engineered obsolescence world. Bought a Miele as they claim to be a 20 year machine. Time will tell but so far so good.
I wouldn't buy another dishwasher with the control panel on the top side of the door. The appliance guy says he replaces those regularly due to condensation forming on the underside of the countertop.
