I would reccomend Bosch.
You barely know the darned thing is running and everything comes out sparkling clean. Be sure to use the recommended Finnish tablets.
I've had three of them in three different properties and each time I moved I wanted to take them with me. Never had an issue.
Right now I'm waiting for my cheapo whirlpool contractor purchase to die so i can buy another Bosch.
Actually, come to think of it, that 12 yr old whirlpool is still going strong - you just need to turn up the TV when you're running a load.
