UHaul trucks and trailer are notorious for being very badly maintained. I could care less about an odd light not working, but brakes etc I consider pretty important. If you rent from them make darn sure you check the truck over real close and don't let them give you a beater because they charge the same price as for the new ones. Personally, if I had any other option, I would take it.
