Yah it’s crazy for sure. Our dog is a Golden Doodle and we did get him for “free” if there is such a thing. Coworker/friend got injured in a car crash at work and they held a raffle to raise money for his family. Wife bought 3 tickets for entry on the dog and we won a puppy. The rest of the litter was selling for $2300 males and $2500 females. To be honest I would have never bought a Golden Doodle but Winston is an amazing dog and opened our eyes to a breed we would never have considered.
