I have caught big brown trout in New Zealand back country with up to 8 mice in them, last trip back there, night fishing Nelson lakes, I seen several mice swimming in the lake, and watch two disappear, I couldn't connect, that night. But the 6lb brown I got in the Buller river outlet, next morning had two mice in its gut.
Caught a few Bull trout, in the kootneys on mice flys.
Fun fly to fish if the conditions a right,
