Just be respectful of others on the lake, if you drive out on the ice, stay away from other people who are on foot, it's just common sense and respect. There's lots of lake for everyone, spread out a bit, that goes for the whole season, don't crowd people and if you want to talk, park 50 yards away and walk, you will find people way more receptive.
