I was talking with my brother in-law about these setups( he's wheel chair bound ). Do the research if your looking at getting one for anybody. Battery life is really varied between units. They will work exceptionally well but lose traction on to much incline. The battery pack is designed to be mounted on the front to help keep weight on the tire maintaining contact with the ground.
As with all three wheeled units caution on quick turns is advised. All in all a great idea.
