I wonder if it has anything to do with the AFGA noticing that the resident moose allocation numbers were severely cut for WMU 349 this year but outfitter allocations rose substantially for that zone this year?
Sounds like the government had to do some backpedaling to increase the resident 349 moose tags closer to 2020 tag numbers.
I’m wondering if this was also the case with the mule deer draw and the government was worried about the resident hunter backlash?
