I’m the same. I have some T3s. IMO there wasn’t much wrong with the T3 as it was. Take off the stock, lower the trigger pull, replace the recoil lug with stainless or titanium, spray some nonexpanding foam into the stock, put on a limbsaver recoil pad. Maybe replace the bolt shroud. I’ve replaced a few and kept a few stock. Only had one crack. And the smallish ejection port is a nonissue. You are not going to be top loading that magazine while it’s in the rifle in any event. For 2 hours time and a few $bucks a T3 was just as good IMO.
