My first Bolt action rifle was the worst one I have ever owned! I pumped gas and saved my $.65 an hour for a year! Bought it new from Robinsons Guns in Victoria in 1972-3!
Remington "Mohawk" 600 Laminate full length vent rib sights,in 350 Rem. Mag, with a Weaver K4 Quick Detach on it. At 100yds, 3 outa 5 shots wouldn't even hit the 4x4 piece of plywood the target was mounted on!
Robinsons changed the scope, on warranty TWICE, then their rifle smith took it out and shot it. They gave me the same rifle in 308 for it!
I have had several duds since, but this one was the one that took sooooo long to buy!
