If I run 3000fps with a 175gr ablr in the 7mm and 3300 with the 142gr the 7mm has 1868ft/lb @ 600yds and the 26 Nosler has 1834ft/lb, pretty close imo, they run pretty close all the way out to 1000 with the 7mm a little ahead the whole way out.
*Thats using 63gr of powder in the 7mm and 89gr of powder in the 26 Nosler, the 7mm looks a lot better when you look at it that way. It’s about 2600gr diffence with only 100 bullets.

Thank you. They are both very capable. I didn't like the 7 I had because of the recoil. The 26 is more expensive to shoot I don't doubt. The sales guy I talked to about mine said I should figure in another $ 0.50 -$0.75 a round for barrel replacement. I'm unsure what the 7mm rm might be.
