I don't think you could go wrong with the 26 or 28 nosler. My gun came with a brake but I don't use it for hunting. I find the recoil less then my 30-06. It is a very pleasant gun to shoot.

It’s got about 1800ft/lbs @ 600yds.
The 28 Nosler isn’t that bad to shoot with or without the break, especially if your just using a break for the bench and no break hunting. The 7mm rem mag is way cheaper to run if you plan on shooting lots.
