... out shooting targets at a friends acreage north of Airdrie when we start seeing gophers. A LOT of gophers. 4 years I've been target shooting out there, and last year was the first time I ever saw any (though only two). Sure shows how much the little buggers can reproduce - we saw upwards of 50 of the damn things...
Anyway, I shot one, and my ten year old (Matty) was all excited to give it a go.
After 4-5 near misses, he finally stuck two back to back.
He's been sending pictures to everyone he knows. So proud of himself. Definitely built up his confidence - he had been getting discouraged that he wasn't improving as fast as he had hoped.
