Shot my first archery moose yesterday. Waited 5 years for the draw, built the stand 2 years ago and it finally happened. Called in the young Bull to a 30 yard broadside shot. The Montana decoy got him to stop right where I needed him. Couldn't have worked out better. The arrow entered the right side and stopped wedged into the stapula on the other side. About 6" of the rear of arrow was showing and that quickly snapped off when he ran. He went less than 50 yards and I had my camera on him in seconds. I'm guessing less than 90 seconds from impact to him laying down. Super happy, can't wait for some tender moose sirloin tonight!

Using a Bear Motive 6, 70lbs, shooting a 537gr arrow @ 288fps topped with a Rage Trypan.
