The step from 600 to 1000 shouldn't be a big one if you are consistent at the shorter range....can you see what's going wrong at 1000, or is it a case of "can't see splash so don't know what to correct"? That can be real frustrating.....
Is your ballistic program making sense out to 600?...if it's not awful close, that error will of course be magnified further out.
Where do you shoot ? (Not that it matters, just wonder if you are close by, I have an accessible private range for long distance work.)
