Trapping.
As long its an open trapping season and not in a RFMA, you can trap with permission or shoot with permission, west alberta is where the registered traplines are and the registered trappers have first call on fur there. I trap quite a few area just along the borders of the registered areas and beavers are a huge problem as the registered trappers don't bother as much with them. You should pm any one of the members here with specifics as where you are asking about as that makes a huge difference. We would be happy to point you where you need to go for info or help with thinning them out.
