A 25 caliber on 6.5 Rem Mag should be the ballistic equivalent of 25-06. Only advantage to 25/6.5 RM is a short action magazine rifle. If its a 1:10 twist barrel it should stabilize up to 120 gr bullets.
Like most wildcats they are fun to play with but there is usually a factory standard round as good or better. It might be difficult finding brass for the 6.5 Rem Mag.
