Bought my marlin 336c .30.30 when I was 12. Saved all year and “borrowed “ a bit from dad to buy it. Now 51 and it has killed every deer species from black tail to whitetail. Moose and bear. Quite a few grouse too. A few squirrels and rabbits. Nope it’s a hand me down now for hopefully a few generations to come in the family. My will states it cannot ever be sold outside the family. Hopefully generations to come abide that.
