Perhaps some sort of Crispy fish sandwich would be appropriate for the ladies.
I am partial to a Panko Crusted Walleye Rueben sandwich.
But you could hid the fish in any popular sandwich that they both would enjoy.
Beer batter alone may be too close to normal/fishy to satisfy those taste buds
