I had drilled 100+ holes on a reservoir that I never fished in last month. There was no one else on the ice and no holes visible from previous anglers. Just started drilling and fishing. The water was not clear (couldn't see the bottom in 6 fow), lots of weeds and shallow is not something where a flasher would be useful, fishing for jackfish, hardwater trolling is what we were doing
. We caught lots of jacks that day.
