I have tracks on my Rhino and I will sink maybe 2 inches in the snow. I have had more than one experience where I have stepped off my Rhino and I am in 2 or 3 feet of snow.

If you do get stuck on a lake, you have 90% of gear to get yourself out of any situation. I am sure you got a winch on the front, drill a hole with your ice auger (not all the way though), drop a post in and start winching. Infinite number of anchor points to winch too. If you don't have a post, walk to the shore and get a log.
