I seen that Kizer is making some blades with vg10 steel in the <100$ range.
In my opinion they have a ton of potential.

I don’t really have much experience with Kershaw, however the cryo has my attention.

Spyderco makes some of their basic models squeak in under 100$

You might, just might, be able to get a Benchmade mini-grip for that (and that would be a great option!)

There is always the traditional Bucks, the 112 seems a great size and I like how their steel stacks up against the other budget options.

If you go used 100$ will go a lot further and would be my highest reccomendation, PM2 in s30v would be a cut above the previous options in edge retention, though harder to sharpen.
Anyways, those are the options as I see them. I tied my best to keep em all under 100$ as you asked. However, I’ll be the first to say that due to the rising cost of everything these days 100-150$ will get you a much more premium knife. (Especially used!)
