We fished the north fork of the flathead river. It forms the west border of glacier national park just south of the border. The best part is that you can camp in glacier and you do not need a fishing licence as long as you access the river from the park side. Well I should restate that, your park access is also your licence. The fish were small but I bet we had 75 fish days each. It was crazy. Lots of good cutthroat action. Anyway, sounds like it would be a good spot for you. Close camping, lots of fish.
