I was talking to my sister (a bleeding heart liberal and card carrying member of the green party) about the petty crime around the Safe drug use site. I said that this revolving door has to stop. Maybe making some of these guys do actual full restitution and pay damages on top would do more to curb the problem than the little slaps on the wrist they get now.
