I bring the legs along but don't usually use them and leave the decoy. I shortened the legs one section that makes it easier to walk with, then I sewed on a archery forearm protector to one side on the decoy so i can kind of hold it like a shield with still being able to walk and keep my hands free for bow / rangefinder.
