Cabelas meat grinder question
Hey gguys who have the Cabelas carnivore meat grinders.
I have a 1HP and it is an amazing machine. But one issue has always driven me crazy.
On the back of the auger housing where the grinding screw meats the motor gear, there is a plastic bushing and I can not for the life of me get it out to clean behind.
Now, I have no idea if it even comes out, as there is nothing in the manual about it, nor on the interweb. But it sure leaves me a bit unsettled when I clean it and I have some dried bits left behind afterwards.
I'm sure this is a bit of OCD coming from my current occupation, but none the less.
Anyone know how to or it it is even supposed to be removed??
As amazing as the grinder is, this was one little pitfall that was not thought of during development.
I talked to the guys at the store and they said the same thing. "no idea"
Help?
