I have never seen Shell kicked out of the Castle, nor have they ever shut in any wells because it was to dry to opperate. They may have had some contractors that really didnt need to be there though. You must not have been working for Shell.........

Year of the lost creek fire (2004? can't remember for sure). Allowable activity was extremely limited. But you are right, notice was short. Lasted quite some time if I recall. Headed to Rocky for another shell project while waiting for the south country to be opened up again.
See a big billboard set up this morning on the 752 letting everyone know of the hummingbird area shutdown
