X2, I will start with butches or hoppes benchrest to work on some carbon, and sometimes do another one in between the wipeout if I'm getting lots of dirty patches. 2 patches of G96 5min apart for last, then a clean one if gonna use it if not leave it in.
I also use patch out now, don't miss the foam all over the place way easier. I also think when the foam "melts" then all the stuff sits at the bottom of the barrel. On real dirty rifles I used to let sit and rotate 90deg every application but not with patch out.
