I always thot it a better idea to get away from the “foot hold” thing, stemming from “leg hold”… basic simple word association thing… not really accomplishing much… leg hold… foot hold
How about be accurate. Foot trap?
Eliminates the word association and an accurately describes the traps for what it is.
