I've never been up there and don't know the road conditions and was wondering if it's ok to drive with a 4x4 SUV in winter. Has anyone been up there recently and knows the conditions? The 511 website says it's a gravel road but I wonder if it's graded/plowed or deep snow and ice ruts and a slow bumpy ride.
Thanks in advance for any info.
Great choice. I drive this road a lot and it is usually in good shaspe. Expect some traffic as logging and oilfield is busy but the road is wide and in nice shape. The drive across the Brazeau is awesome and worth the trip alone.Good luck on your drive
