Have not been out yet this year cause of some big time wiring problems in boat
Anyhow last year found the same on a bunch of pike we had caught. Looked just like open wounds and fairly fresh (meat showing) These fish were mostly on the ones that were at least 3 lbs. Confused
to say the least. Maybe some bigger hungry ones. We know they will attack each other when the hunger hits or just because they're in each others space
