One thing we noticed on nearly every pike we caught was the damage on the sides and backs of their bodies, even the 30" ones. I can't imagine the size of the big pike that inflicted those injuries on a 30" fish?

Most of the jacks I caught had the same wounds. I'm wondering if these are bird related wounds, there are a lot of Cormorants around.
