In my humble opinion, the 1100 or its successors are some of the finest hunting grade shotguns made.
I own way too many shotguns of every action type and most gauges , and I find I reach for my 1100 in 12g for most hunting of waterfowl, upland game birds, trap and general use on the farm for pests.

The problem with the 1100, is that the 3" guns will not cycle lighter target loads, making them far less versatile than the modern semi auto designs.

The biggest problems with the cheap Turkish guns is trying to find parts a few years later. And the Pardus and Armsan guns that I have seen at our clays ranges, have been nothing but trouble.
