had the same thing happen over Christmas, frikkin recorder battery died about 2 minutes before, did get a phone camera pic of him wondering why the fish didnt taste very fishy. pretty cool to watch when they do it. had one rip the cable out of my hand when I turned it one time too. but then they ignore a perfectly good bait right beside them.
