Thanks MTB, I did buy him a couple of new fly rods - I just thought it would be nice to refit his dad's rod for him to use for his first time out. He'll have the other two rods to continue on his learning curve.
I do like the idea of maybe mounting it after he takes it out that one time... thanks for that.
