It's true, an ATC is a long slow process to approval, so apply soon if you have any wish to have that thing by fall 2022 ... there will be a stack of paperwork to go through, phonecalls back n forth with CFO reps, interviews and range qualifications to pass as well. It's fairly involved. But at least the Alberta office (was) pretty realistic about ok'ing them. I don't know what the current staff will be like since the changeover though, mine isn't up til spring ... I hope the new office will be at least as good as the last. Theoretically supposed to be better, but who knows yet..

Have any of you guys gone through ATC renewals since the Sept.1 changeover here in Alberta?? Positive opinions on how it was handled, or no?

The last phonecall I had with old staff didn't reveal much enthusiasm that very many, if any, of the old personell in Alberta Chief Firearms office would be kept on after Sept.1st ... pretty curious what to expect going forward
