I was at Pigeon last weekend and the ice was 32-34 inches thick. I drilled 40 holes with my Strikemaster 40V and the battery showed 1/4 bars left. That is a minimum of 1280 inches of ice. The auger still was drilling fine, but I’m not sure I would have got 10 more holes to hit the 1600 inches they advertise. It would have been close though.

Hope that info is helpful for anyone contemplating one.
