1-5x24 for hunting?
Never owned one of these scopes. Considering purchasing the Leupold 1-5x24 or 1-6x24. Thinking it may be a good fit for my 338-06, my moose and elk bush gun.
Pro's - lighter weight (then what I own already). Smaller package (then what I own currently). Awesome FOV for the bush.
My only concern is how much light the 24mm Objective will let in on the Vx5 and Vx6. I've never looked through one. Will it be a hinderance at first and last light?
Does anyone hunt with these style of scopes?
Most reviews I've seen on youtube for these style of scopes are for 3- Gun Competitions and such.
