I've been kinda looking for a 1 ton for a while, i see the same thing that you mention.
Every now and then i see one that catches my interest on a lot. Then it's gone for a while, shows up as a private sale, disappears for a while. Shows up at another lot. I am guessing some of these lot owners are one in the same and just move them along between a private sale and their lots. Price & description always changes but not by much. Higher $$$ mostly.
