Any other alternate calibers, we haven't suggested?
I own a .338, but all it does is gather dust, while my 7mm Rem. gets a good workout every year. I bought my .338 because I just wanted a really BIG gun. Grizz? A couple of 169 grn. Hornadys in the 7mm worked fine. 338 versu .300? Unless you are planning on shooting really heavy bullets, I really don't see the point of the .338. You can't beat the selection of weights in .30
