Another vote for the Monarch 5's here. I bought a pair a few years ago and they've been great.
I compared them to the Diamondbacks and it wasn't even close as far as brightness and clarity. If I was going to get anything else in that price range it would be the Steiner Predators. They were really nice as well, but the guy gave me a discount on the Nikon's.
