The most important thing is having a setup that you shoot well, whatever that is. But with a properly tuned bow at hunting distances I like the performance of a heavy weight forward fixed blade, especially the penetration on larger game. A lot of people avoid fixed blade heads because they aren’t shooting a tuned bow or have form imperfections causing less than ideal groups, I used to be the same but I’m happy with my setup now. Not too fast not too slow, KInetic energy doesn’t matter at all in a bow but momentum does and mass matters once you start trying to push through tissue with a projectile.
