Default Enfield.....

I have a P-17 Enfield that was sporterized by BSA. Now, its chambered in 30-06 but I let a gunsmith look at the rifle a while ago. He mentioned that the guns still shoot nice these days but may not be as acurate as todays rifles with todays technology(understandable). Plus the weight of them is certainly evident when shooting but not unbearable.
The Bolt actions are really strong and they last a lifetime of hunting. Mine shoots nice for a rifle that originally was made for WW1! cant complain.
Check out the barrell on it, give it a good cleaning and happy hunting. In my opinion, you did well.
Plus, you line up a .303 in the boiler room of most of our game, it's meat on your table. No doubt.
Cheers, Dudes2010
